Ashok is the Founder CEO of Shreya Consultancy. Ashok qualified as a Chartered Accountant (equivalent to CPA) in the year 1984. Ashok also qualified as a Information Systems Auditor from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in July 2003.

Ashok began his career as a practicing Chartered Accountant and found a niche in providing solutions to Management in the SME - Small and Medium Enterprises Segment. With the BPO boom in India, this soon grew into an accounting outsourcing opportunity where the group would take over the responsibility of running the entire Finance and Accounts department.Under Ashok's guidance the group started from early 2000 providing accounting outsourcing services to companies in the IT sector and domestic companies .

Ashok was also involved in the handling the Finance and Accounts Department of ABN AMRO Central Enterprise Services Private Limited (ACES), which is a subsidiary concern of ABN AMRO Bank N.A right from its inception. ACES is an STPI Unit (Software Technology Park of India) advising the back office operations of ABN AMRO Bank N.A. Ashok was involved in designing a process driven accounting system, Accounting, MIS, Invoicing, Works Contract, Transfer Pricing, STPI, TDS, Sales Tax, Customs & Central Excise matters.
